In this video mainly shows an Automatic garri production plant from fresh cassava input to final package machines.
Garri production plant includes 3 parts, washing, processing, and frying. Firstly fresh cassava tubers are harvested from farms and then collected in the yard, A lift will put cassava tubers into a feeding hopper, and then a belt conveyor is transported to a cleaning machine. In the video there are 2 stages of cleaning machines, one is for simply cleaning some dirt, grass, etc, which we call a dry sieve machine. Another is a paddle washing machine to wash cassava.
After washing, the belt conveyor transports cassava to the peeling machine and grating machine to get cassava slurry. There are 2 stages grating machine, one is a cutting machine, cutting cassava tubers into small pieces, then hammer mill grate to slurry. Then slurry will be put into a fermentation tank for 3 days. Next, use a spiral press machine to remove moisture.
After dewatering, there is a grater to break the cassava cake then put it into the fryer to get high-quality garri. Some also can add palm oil to the frying process. After frying then sieving to separate big and small particles, finally step do package.
