For cassava flour processing, drying is an important step for it can reduce the water content in wet flour and thus extend the storage time of produced flour. So how to dry cassava flour?
Flash dryer is the most commonly used machine for cassava flour drying. To dry cassava flour, the wet flour firstly enters into the impulse tube through a screw conveyor, where it will mix with the high- speed hot air. The air is filtered by the filter so it will not pollute the cassava flour. The hot air scatters the cassava flour and removes the water away, so that the cassava flour is dried. After that, the wet air will be discharged from exhaust exit while the dry flour enters next precedure.
