Jinrui Foodtech Delivers 40 TPH Cassava Chips Milling System for Nigerian Ethanol Plant
Jinrui Foodtech news/ Chat online/ Leave a message/ November 5, 2026
Jinrui Foodtech (Henan Jinrui) has delivered a 40 TPH cassava chips milling package to a Lebanese-owned ethanol plant under construction in Ogun State, Nigeria. The scope covers the milling unit, the material conveying system and dust collection — the three components that form the feed preparation section of the ethanol production line. The client selected Jinrui after a site survey by our Nigeria-based engineer in August 2026 and formally signed the contract on September 30, 2026.

The Feedstock Choice
The facility processes dried cassava chips rather than fresh roots — a decision the client made before engaging us. Dried chips can be stored for months without spoilage and carry roughly twice the fermentable material per tonne compared to fresh roots (Cassava Handbook, CIAT/FAO, 2011), which is why the order centres on a chips milling line rather than a root rasper. For an ethanol plant, consistent feedstock quality directly affects fermentation efficiency and overall yield.

Why Jinrui Won the Project
Local presence, fast mobilisation
The client's situation set two tests for any supplier. The feed section had to integrate with equipment already installed by another contractor, inside a layout that could not be redrawn around our machines; and the construction schedule left no room for a supplier who would fly in for every drawing query and clarification. Both tests are easier to pass from down the road than from another country.
Jinrui Foodtech has maintained a branch in Ogun State since 2019, with an office and a 1,000 sqm warehouse on the Sagamu–Benin Expressway. Our engineer therefore surveyed the site on August 10, seven weeks before signature, and the questions raised during tendering were settled without an international flight.
A delivery track record the client could verify
A 40 TPH feed section fitted around another contractor's work leaves little room for a supplier learning on the job, so the client checked our delivery history before discussing price. It shows 40+ countries supplied, 80+ production line projects and 180+ single machines delivered as of August 2026.
The record is backed by our own manufacturing: the affiliated factory in Jiaozuo, Henan, 40,000 sqm, working under ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, with 12 of the group's 14 national utility model patents held in Jinrui's name. For the client, that meant the layout adjustments agreed during tendering could be made in the workshop that builds the machines, not negotiated with a third party.

Built for hazardous environments
The site survey flagged the condition that would govern the specification: fine chip dust and alcohol vapour sharing one building. Hazardous-area classification is not a detail to be settled after delivery — it decides motor enclosure, earthing and where the filter units sit, and it was fixed in the tender drawings.
The section is therefore specified with explosion-proof Siemens motors, ABB drives and SKF bearings as standard, with dust captured at the mill and at every transfer point. For the client this means a feed section that can be inspected against the plant's classification as built, rather than reworked after it arrives.
From Workshop to Site
Each section is assembled and test-run in our workshop before shipping. Once on site, our engineers handle installation and commissioning while training the client's operators. Critical spares will ship from the Ogun warehouse to minimise downtime. No part of this contract has been delivered yet, and we will report each milestone as it is reached rather than describe the project as a running line.
Planning Your Ethanol Feedstock Line?
Send Jinrui your feedstock specifications — fresh roots or dried chips — along with your target throughput and plant location. Our engineers will return a process layout, the equipment scope for that capacity and an indicative budget. If you are building in West Africa, the team in Ogun can visit the site before anything is quoted.
