Small scale garri processing equipment

Many people in Africa plant lots of cassava, especially in Nigeria. They would like to process the cassava into garri as their main food. We have a  simple production lines with three garri processing equipments. This small scale garri processing equipments can totally meet local people's demands. Normally the machine can produce 1 ton garri from 3-4tonnes of fresh cassava roots.

Processing cassava roots into garri takes several steps as follows:
Step 1: Peeling and washing cassava roots
Peel the fresh cassava roots by manual work and Wash the peeled cassava roots in clean water Gently scrub the roots with the scourer to remove pieces of unpeeled skin and dirt. Make sure the washed roots are clean with no spots.
Step 2: Grating cassava roots into pulp and mash
Load the grater with washed and peeled cassava roots while the machine is running to crush the roots into pulp.

Step 3: De-watering and fermenting
By using the principle of hydraulic and self-weight, no-filter chamber cavity, which will  directly press and squeeze the starch milk water under putting the cassava pulp into the filter bag to further reduce the moisture content.

Step 4: Frying the cassava mesh into garri
During Garri making ,frying part is necessary for all the production line. The fryer is automatic type, with 304 stainless steel material. Processor can control the temperature by button; Temperature adjustable;
Two scrapers on each side, which will ensure the cassava mesh fully heated ;Scraping bottom agitation, frying equably;
